PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Anticipates guest’s needs and responds to these needs in an efficient manner. • Solicits feedback from the guests in order to improve lodge services as needed. • He hosts the guests and tourists at the camp • He guides the guests in the campsite • He gives guests sports equipment and walks them to the grounds and gym. • He provides the guests with excellent customer care service thus making them satisfied with their stay He gives the guests bathing, sunbathing, dietary, exercise and recreational (spa) programs • He gives body
massage, pedicure and manicure services • He books guests’ transportation; especially promote lodge transportation to maximize transportation revenue. • He passes guests messages, faxes to guests, or delivers them to guest- room immediately and accurately. • He provides the guests with excellent customer care service thus making them satisfied with their stay • Perform other duties be assigned by the Lodge Manager, Assistant Lodge Manager or other concerned lodge officers. • Promote Hotel  The guest relations officer works to promote a positive image of the hotel. • Administrative Duties  He logs daily activities to ensure shift handover goes smoothly • He analyzes hotel statistics and feedback to improve lodge services • Guest relations officers greets guests as they walk in the door • Checks the guests in to the lodge. • Helps in carrying the guests’ luggage upon guests’ check-in and checkout • Stores the guests’ luggage. • Checks and records storage of guest luggage in the baggage storeroom on a daily basis and ensure that it is within the Luggage Storage guidelines. • Provides the guests with information on lodge amenities and makes them feel welcome. • Escorts VIP guests to their rooms and provides them with VIP amenities. • Listens to the guests’ complaint and work to resolve them. • Provides guests with information on the community, lodge and various activities by  Providing them with tickets to shows or sporting events,  Making dinner reservations,  Recommending nightlife and  Assisting with tours and travel arrangements as needed. • Escorts guests as they take boat rides in the lake • Arranges mail service, film development, or other duties requested by guests. • Distributes the daily newspapers to all in house guests, especially for VIPs and long staying guest. • Maintains a daily guest roster under the jurisdiction • Gives the guests a tour ride to the nearby attractions SKILLS AND CERTIFICATION: • Bachelor’s in Hospitality or tourism • Guest-interaction skills • Strong commercial acumen and strategic ability • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills • High standards of integrity • Able to work under pressure and deadlines EXPERIENCE: • 5 years of experience in a similar position.
