_Entreprise Development Assistant at Northern Rangelands Trust in Isiolo - Kenya Jobs, Careers and Vacancies_ *ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT* Northern Rangelands Trust (NRT) is a non profit umbrella organisation of twenty six (26) community conservancies in northern Kenya and whose mission is to develop resilient community conservancies which transform people’s lives, secure peace and conserve natural resources. We are seeking to fill the position of Enterprise Development Assistant. Reporting to the Senior Enterprise Development Officer, the Enterprise Development Assistant will ensure effective technical and administrative support to the department to ensure that all departmental activities are well coordinated. *Your core responsibilities will be:* _1. Technical support_ * Coordinate market days activities * Support women group training * Assist in supervising packing of finished goods. * Ensure quality assurance and product quality control is maintained * Ensure proper accounting systems, book keeping and internal controls are in place * Ensure an up to date database of all loan beneficiaries and trading groups _2. Administration_ * Provide office support to the department on administrative, logistic and operational matters. * Provide effective and efficient administrative and logistical support to the department. * Ensure proper records management * Warehouse inventory management * Offer excellent customer care services to clients * Supervision of field staff *Minimum Qualification:* * Diploma in Creative Arts/Community Development/Project Management or Business Administration * Education: Secondary education KCSE C * Age: 25 – 35 years old * Three (3)years relevant experience * Exceptional organisational skills and Excellent written and oral communication skills * Strong prioritisation, task and time management abilities. * Ability to work independently as required whilst maintaining a team approach. * Good computer skills including competency with Microsoft Office applications. * Willingness to travel to hardship areas * Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
