_Students Counselor at Embu University College in Embu - Kenya Jobs, Careers and Vacancies_ Previously known as Embu Agricultural Staff Training (EAST) College, The Embu University College (EUC) was established as a Constituent College of the University of Nairobi through Legal Notice No. 65 of 17 June, 2011. The objective of the University College is to play a leading role in the development and expansion of opportunities for higher education and research in agriculture, agribusiness, forestry, water and land management, biological & physical sciences. The College seeks to develop into a centre of excellence for learning and research in agriculture and farming systems within and outside Kenya. The University College now wishes to fill the following positions with qualified and experienced staff ready to spearhead the new College towards the attainment of the above objectives. *STUDENT COUNSELOR* Applicants must be holders of at least a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology or equivalent and must have excellent guiding, counseling and problem-solving skills. Those with a relevant first degree and at least five (5) years post-qualification related work experience at a university setting or other public institutions will also be considered. Applicants with training or education background and experience in designing and conducting training programs for the holistic development of youth will have an added advantage. Applicants are expected to be computer literate with good written, and oral communication and interpersonal communication among others. *How to Apply:* Applicants should forward ten (10) copies of their application letters accompanied by similar number of copies of certificates and CVs giving details of their qualifications and experience.
