ICU COORDINATOR
We are seeking a self-driven individual with good planning and good interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have ability to think quickly, adapt to emergency situations and make decisions under pressure. A good team leader, effective mentor and keeps the team motivated especially under pressure.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee provision of care to critically ill patients admitted in the unit
- Teach, Supervise and provide leadership to junior doctors including performance management
- Provide emergency support to ensure timely and optimal delivery of quality patient care
- Offer clinical support during emergencies including resuscitation
- Read, analyze and interpret patient’s reports and discuss the same with consulting doctors for effective management and care of the patients
- Liaise with consultants in the management of their patients at the Unit
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Must be registered with the MPDB and have a current valid practicing license.
- Practicing Medical Doctor with Post graduate qualifications in Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine and/or Critical care medicine will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years working experience in Intensive Care Unit.
