The international humanitarian organization Medecins sans Frontieres / Doctors without Borders is seeking for its Mathare / Eastleigh programme:
EXPERIENCED CLINICAL OFFICER FOR HIV AND TB CLINIC
The successful candidate will perform HIV and TB consultations at the Blue House Clinic in Mathare/Eastleigh.
Requirements:
- Must be registered with the clinical officer’s council and have a valid practising license
- At least 2 years experience as a clinical officer
- Experience prescribing ARVs and TB treatment
- Ability to analyse relevant laboratory results and to prescribe treatment accordingly
- Experience in providing acute care e.g. trauma, coma, respiratory distress etc
- Training in the clinical management of HIV and/or TB would be an advantage
