MARKET INSIGHTS AND COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE MANAGER

Responsibilities
Reporting to Market and Channel Activation Manager, the successful candidate’s main responsibilities will be;

  • To Develop and Manage marketing information systems.
  • Analyze brand health research & report consumer insights/opportunities against brand pack mix monthly.
  • Conduct research to understand consumer preference (As required) and opposition marketing activities as required
  • Track brand/pack performance against set hurdle rates and advise actions to be taken to ensure
    alignment (Monthly)
  • Analyze revenue performance
  • Manage new brand pack viability studies
  • Review DME budget against hurdle rates and market situation and reapportion DME allocation as necessary
  • Monitor forecasting trends on a monthly and a six-monthly cycle

Selection Criteria
We are interested in candidates with following qualifications;

  • Degree in Business Related field with experience or bias in Market research.
  • At least four years experience preferably in FMCG environment.
  • Professional courses in marketing – CIM and MBA will be an added advantage
  • Very good in presentation, PowerPoint and excel
  • Good Commercial and Business acumen
  • Team Player, Leadership skills and a good communicator
  • Good Knowledge and Market Insights.
