Land O’Lakes, International Development is receiving applications for a variety of technical positions for a USAID-funded Feed the Future Initiative in Kenya.
M & E SPECIALIST
Land O’Lakes International Development Division is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to manage the development and implementation of the Project’s Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Plan as well as assist in monitoring sub-award activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Performance Management Plan (PMP) and the project reporting formats.
- Coordinate and oversee timing and format for data collection for all reporting cycles as well as data analysis.
- Work in close coordination with other project teams to collect data for PMP indicators.
- Respond to periodic donor and headquarters requests for additional information on project activities and results
- Work with corporate systems to manage the performance data and reports.
- Assist sub-awardees, in preparing M&E plans, conducting periodic training in proper reporting techniques and providing additional support when necessary.
- Work with global M&E team in implementing global standard procedures, tools and systems.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Development Studies with or any relevant social/natural science and 3 years’ related experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Development Studies with or any relevant social/natural science with 5years related experience
- 5 years minimum of professional experience in M&E, Information Systems, and ‘managing for results’
- Excellent analytical and communication skills; experience with both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods
- Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel and Access, SPSS, Arc View and MS Project
- Professional experience with USAID projects strongly preferred
