Land O’Lakes, International Development is receiving applications for a variety of technical positions for a USAID-funded Feed the Future Initiative in Kenya.
INNOVATION COACHING COORDINATOR
Land O’Lakes International Development Division is seeking an Innovation Coaching Coordinator to coordinate needs assessments of selected agricultural innovations and develop scopes of work to mobilize short-term technical assistance in support of their coaching and development. S/he would be the liaison between local innovators and consultants with a clear vision of when and where technical assistance is necessary to build the capacity and viability of local agricultural innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a pool of local and international STTA providers
- Recruit local STTA according to grantee needs
- Proactively determine STTA needs in accordance with the program and the developmental goals of grantees in close collaboration with the Chief of Party
- Develop scopes of work (SOW) for all short term consultants in collaboration with local partners.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in agribusiness, business administration, management or related field
- Experience writing scopes of work for consultants
- Experience on USAID-funded programs preferred
- Experience arranging and managing travel, logistics, expense reporting, etc.
- Proven success working with a diverse group of subject-matter experts on a wide range of programmatic needs.
- Fluent English
