Land O’Lakes, International Development is receiving applications for a variety of technical positions for a USAID-funded Feed the Future Initiative in Kenya.

GRANTS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Land O’Lakes International Development Division is seeking a Grants Management Specialist to oversee the capacity building and financial reporting of grantees. The Grants Management Specialist will ensure compliance for grants to Kenyan businesses and non-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of financial accounting and reporting of grants in accordance with USAID requirements
  • Identifying private-sector local partners and building their capacity through training and technical assistance
  • Assisting prospective grant recipients in upgrading their systems and procedures to become eligible for grant award assistance

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or related field, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant grants management experience including 3 years of experience on USAID-funded programs
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in capacity building programming preferred
  • Technical knowledge around agricultural value chain development preferred
