PROGRAMME OFFICER (LEGAL)

A medium size NGO based in kisumu city requires a programme officer to work on legal challenges experiences by various Most At Risk Populations (MARPs) – FSWs, MSMs – audiences .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the impact of various laws on MARPs’ human rights and offer advice
  • Execute advocacy forums for MARPs
  • Create awareness of such issues
  • Represent MARPs & the organisation in litigation issues

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • Degree in LLB and diploma in Law from Kenya school of law.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant work experience Excellent writing
  • Skills with demonstrable analytical ability in program development and design.
  • Past working experience with Nongovernmental organization will be an added advantage.
