FINANCE OFFICER

Terre des Hommes Netherlands is looking for Finance Officer as at 15th February 2012 to be based in Nairobi. Terre des Hommes Netherlands supports services for children in need through partner organisations.
Responsibilities
- Advise on country policy – give input to country policy development on financial aspects
- As part of the team develop year budgets which are part of the year plan.
- Develop proposals for financial policy
- Advise on partner relations
- Financial management of project partners
- Financial administration of projects
- Guidance and accountability information
- Management information and advisory services
- Audit of programs and projects
Qualifications
- A Bachelors Degree and a professional qualification in Accounting, such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent,
- A minimum of five years experience in projects finance
- Proficiency with budgeting and analysing financial reports;
- Skilled in report writing, computer packages and fluency in English;
- Communication skills, team spirit and leadership qualities.
The above position involves travelling within in East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia)
