Transmara Sugar Company is situated at Enoosaen within Transmara District and we would like to set up a modern full fledged transport and workshop department to support our cane production and milling cane.

We wish to invite applications for the below listed positions.

ROADS ENGINEER

Role:
Plan, design, coordinate, facilitate and maintain roads infrastructure within our cane growing area to ensure future cane development and delivery at the factory.

Tasks

  • Ensure effective management of roads machinery equipments to optimize their capacity utilization.
  • Plan and coordinate roads maintenance of the roads within the zone, coordinate survey works.
  • Prepare and coordinate sectional budget and manage operational costs.
  • Coordinate with workshop to ensure effective machine maintenance schedule for the roads equipments.

Academic Qualification

  • Degree in civil engineering or equivalent or post graduate in civil engineering.
  • Management skills, leadership, public relations.
  • Over 8 years experience in road construction and maintenance.
