NETWORK IMPLEMENTOR
Mara Ison is a leading technology company with a presence in 16 African countries. We currently have the following vacancies in Nairobi. The position will provide support and serve on the Network Administration team while also providing technical support to the Network Administrators and System Administrators. Candidate will be expected to monitor and maintain the current infrastructure, improve system performance, and automate system administration. Provides input to the design of the organizations network and mission architecture.
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge & expertise in MPLS VPN with SNMP, BGP, OSPF, management vlans and others.
- Team management for firewall & VPN management.
- Expertise in Cisco & juniper enterprise product family (1800/2800/3800/7200/7600), PE(7200/7300/7500/10000), P(7300,GSR) for corresponding IOS and features.
- Management skill of overall WAN & LAN network infrastructure across countries & core Data Centers
- Expertise in Network Auditing and standardization project (ISP/MPLS).
- Expert in technical negotiation with customer & service providers / partners.
- Commissioning and adding of new POPs to ISP/MPLS Cloud following relevant processes.
- 3-7 yrs Experience
- BS, OR ADVANCED DEGREE
- CCNA,CCIP
